Explore the picturesque Dutch countryside around Amsterdam on a guided e-bike tour lasting 3.5 to 4 hours and covering a distance of 37 km. Cycling experience is required for safety reasons. The tour takes you through the beautiful Waterland region to the charming city of Monnickendam, with plenty of photo opportunities and stories along the way. A comfortable e-bike with pedal assist is provided for a more enjoyable ride. Your friendly local guide will lead you from Central Station, through the North Holland Canal, past windmills, and into the Dutch polder landscape. Visit a traditional Dutch cheese farm to see clog and cheese making, taste authentic Gouda cheese, and explore the gift shop. The tour also passes through the historical town of Monnickendam and several medieval villages before returning to Amsterdam. Highlights include crossing the IJ river on a ferry, cycling through the polder landscape, and seeing a classic windmill up close. Included in the tour are a local guide, a quality e-bike with pedal assistance, rain clothes if necessary, and a Dutch snack. Participants are advised to bring appropriate clothing for the weather, snacks and water, and a camera. Drinks along the way, gratuities, and souvenirs are not included.
