This week-long boat adventure is a unique educational opportunity for kids aged 11-17 to learn about different waterways​,​ ecosystems​,​ and native wildlife while strengthening their kayaking and paddling techniques​,​ safety​,​ and waterway navigation skills. The camp also emphasizes the importance of teamwork and being good stewards of the environment through nature interpretation and education. Each day of the camp is spent exploring a different location​,​ starting with the Chassahowitzka River and moving on to Ozello​,​ Rainbow River​,​ and Withlacoochee River. Activities include kayak safety and equipment​,​ paddling techniques​,​ self-rescue​,​ and buddy rescue​,​ learning about marine ecosystems​,​ mangroves​,​ estuaries​,​ saltwater fish​,​ dolphins​,​ and shorebirds​,​ snorkeling​,​ and observing wildlife and learning about river history. Parents are responsible for transporting their child to each location​,​ with drop off at a different location each day. The cost of the camp is $165 per camper.
