Explore the wonders of Oregon on a full-day tour through the Columbia River Gorge and up to the majestic Mt. Hood. Starting in downtown Portland, you will travel along the Columbia River to Troutdale before embarking on the Historic Columbia River Highway. Highlights include a stop at the Crown Point Vista House for breathtaking views of the Gorge, as well as visits to the impressive Latourell Falls and the iconic Multnomah Falls Historic Lodge. Afterwards, you will journey to Hood River, known as the Windsurfing Capital of the World, where you can explore the town and enjoy lunch. Continuing on, you will drive through Oregon's picturesque Fruit Loop orchards and lavender farms before ascending to Timberline Lodge, a National Historic Landmark situated against the backdrop of Mt. Hood. Marvel at the views of the Cascade Mountain Range and, if time permits, take a short hike to the Pacific Crest Trail crossing behind the lodge. This 8-hour adventure offers a whirlwind journey through some of Oregon's most impressive natural wonders, from ancient riverbeds and towering waterfalls to alpine summits and historic lodges. Weather and season permitting, the tour route and sights may vary, but the goal is always to provide an interesting and memorable experience for all participants.
