Adventure Details
Experience a relaxing and scenic boat adventure on the northern Animas River with Roll. This 3-hour excursion covers 1.3 miles from Oxbow Park & Reserve to 32nd Street, with no challenging rapids to navigate. Beginners of all ages are welcome, making it a perfect outing for families, friends, couples, and groups. Roll provides a thorough introduction to stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) for a fun and safe experience on the water. To start the adventure, participants can park near the meeting point at 32nd Street and East 3rd Ave and take a leisurely walk along the Animas River Trail to Oxbow Park. Roll will greet guests at the park with pre-inflated SUP boards, ready for a pleasant paddle upstream and downstream on the river. A lunch or dinner picnic can also be arranged to enjoy during the 2-hour river excursion, adding to the overall experience. Safety is a top priority during the boat adventure, with all Roll SUP participants required to wear life jackets at all times. Additionally, participants must be able to swim in order to rent a SUP from Roll. With a focus on fun, relaxation, and safety, this boat adventure offers a memorable experience for all skill levels on the beautiful Animas River.
