Adventure Details
The Odyssea Open Water Diver Certification course is a 3-4 day adventure that will equip you with the skills and knowledge to scuba dive both at home and abroad. Led by a highly-trained PADI Instructor, the course offers a relaxed and supportive learning environment where you will learn how to use scuba gear, practice in a pool, and make dives in open water. The course includes eLearning, all necessary gear, custom scheduling, and two sessions in a heated pool, culminating in a 3 Tank Catalina Boat Trip. During the course, participants will engage in PADI eLearning to study scuba diving principles and terminology at their own pace. Additionally, they will practice using scuba gear in a pool-like environment until they feel comfortable, before making four dives in open water. Participants must be able to swim, medically fit for diving, and comfortable in the water, meeting certain prerequisites such as floating without aids for 10 minutes and swimming a certain distance. Junior Diver Certification is available for those aged 10-14. Participants can expect shallow dives during the course, with the maximum allowed depth being 18m/60ft. Additional dives may be required for some participants, in which case an extra fee will apply. Medical requirements must also be met before enrolling in the course, and while most dive shops require students to provide their own mask, fins, and snorkel, all necessary gear is included in the Tier course purchase with Odyssea. Students and certified divers also receive a 10% discount on all gear for life through partner companies. Damage Deposit
Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of USD 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental.
