Experience the magic of watching fireworks from a kayak with Outside’s Fireworks Paddle. This unique adventure combines a 2-hour guided kayak tour with the opportunity to witness the Shelter Cove Harbourfest fireworks display from the water. Led by an Interpretive Naturalist guide, participants receive a paddling clinic before heading out into the Broad Creek Wildlife area in safe and comfortable single or double kayaks. The guide will point out points of interest, share knowledge on nature, history, and culture, and keep an eye out for dolphins and other wildlife. The Fireworks Paddle takes place every Tuesday evening from June to August, with a special show on July 4th. Participants can enjoy the sunset over the Creek before ‘rafting up’ in a calm area to watch the fireworks from a safe yet close distance. Glow sticks add to the ambiance as the sky lights up with colors. After the show, the group is guided back to the marina where they are assisted out of their boats.
