Whether you are a beginner or looking to improve your skills, our 75-minute private lessons offer personalized attention for individuals or small groups of up to 10 people. Learn proper paddling techniques and safety procedures while enjoying the scenic views of the ocean or flat water. In the event of windy conditions or during the fall season, lessons are moved inland to the Broadkill River for a more sheltered experience. All equipment, including gear, safety equipment, and even photography, is provided for your convenience. Simply bring along gratuity for your instructor, dock hand, or driver to show appreciation for their services. Private lessons are available by reservation only, making it a convenient option for those staying in Rehoboth, Dewey, Lewes, or North Bethany. Before heading out on your adventure, be sure to pack essentials such as a waterproof pouch, sunglass straps, towel, change of clothes, water, sunscreen, and the Park Mobile APP for convenient parking. Dress appropriately in dry-wicking clothing, bathing suit or board shorts, hat, and footwear for sun protection and comfort. During the fall season, consider wearing neoprene or dry-wicking clothing for added warmth while on the water.
