Adventure Details
Our Flatwater Kayak Safety Rescue course is a 4-hour adventure that focuses on teaching essential flatwater safety practices and rescue techniques. Participants will learn key self-rescue skills for various mobility levels and kayak types, as well as assisted rescues, rope handling skills, and more. The course emphasizes fast, simple, and low-risk rescue techniques to effectively manage minor in-water incidents. Included in the course is a kayak, paddle, and PFD for participants to use free of charge. This is especially beneficial for beginners who are still figuring out which kayak is right for them. If participants already own a kayak, they are encouraged to bring it, but may be required to use one provided by us if their kayak is deemed unsafe or inappropriate for the class. Participants are advised to dress according to the weather and for complete immersion, as well as bring drinking water, sun protection (e.g. hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, long sleeves), and any additional layers for cold weather. Damage Deposit
Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of USD 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental. This damage deposit secures the host if the boat is damaged during your rental. The damage deposit must be taken from the same card that the booking was made on. Questions?
