Experience the beauty of a natural palm oasis, where crystal-clear water bubbles up year-round from the underground aquifer. Learn about how the Cahuilla Indians utilized desert plants for various purposes and explore a recreated Cahuilla Indian Village at the former site of the ancient Cahuilla Village site of Paltewet. Immerse yourself in the culture and lifestyle of the Cahuilla People as you tour ceremonial long-houses, sweat lodges, and family huts adorned with interpretive displays. This tour is suitable for children aged 3 and up, with morning tours available year-round and afternoon tours offered from October to May. Reservations are required in advance, and guests will ride in an open-air 7-pax Jeep Scrambler with a naturalist guide. Enjoy a guided nature walk or easy hike, bottled water, and granola snacks as you explore the fascinating landscape and history of the San Andreas Fault Zone. - Suitable for children aged 3 and up - Proper footwear required - Masks required for non-vaccinated or partially-vaccinated individuals - Children must meet height and weight requirements for Jeep rides - Advance reservations are necessary for this tour.
