The Pelican ferry service offers a unique and relaxing 4-hour boat adventure from downtown St. Pete to Egmont Key. Passengers can enjoy a scenic 60-minute ride along the beautiful shorelines of St. Pete, passing under the iconic Sunshine Skyway bridge while possibly spotting dolphins along the way. Upon arrival at Egmont Key, guests will have approximately 2 hours to explore the pristine beaches, historic lighthouse, ruins of Ft. Dade, and the amazing wildlife before heading back on the return trip. The Pelican boat is a 60-foot vessel that can accommodate up to 49 passengers. Passengers should be prepared to step into shallow water when disembarking on Egmont Key. While on board, guests can purchase wine, beer, non-alcoholic beverages, and limited snacks. It is important to note that outside alcohol is not permitted on the boat. Visitors are advised to bring sunscreen (avoiding spray application while on the boat), towels, and bathing suits to fully enjoy their time on Egmont Key.
