Looking to rent out your water bike hassle-free? WetRentals has got you covered! We provide an all-in-one platform for advertising, bookings, customer service, and everything in between. All you need is your red shark bike and a bank account to start making money.
The Secure Experience
At WetRentals, we prioritize the safety and security of our users. Once your bike is listed, renters are required to complete ID verification and pay with a credit card. The total amount is charged to the renter's credit card at the time of booking and held until the rental is completed. Additionally, if a damage deposit is set, the renter's card will be charged 24 hours prior to the rental start date to cover any damages.

WetRentals is an Ottawa-based company that initially started by renting Sea-Doos and delivering them directly to clients. We know your boats are valuable, that is why we provide multiple steps to ensure you are protected.
Damage Deposits
As the host, you have complete control over your damage deposits at WetRentals. The renter's damage deposit is charged 24 hours before the rental and released 48 hours after the rental period. This gives you ample time to inspect your boat for any damages. With our app, you can do a walk-around, take photos, and any damages when you drop off and pick up your bike. In the unlikely event of any damages, simply fill out a damage claim, and the renter's deposit will be automatically held until a professional repair quote is obtained. This ensures a secure and hassle-free experience for boat hosts.
Renter Verification
At WetRentals, we prioritize the safety and security of our hosts. To ensure that our renters are verified, we have partnered with Veriff, a leading ID verification company. When a user signs up to rent, they must upload a photo of a government-issued ID along with a selfie. Veriff's AI verifies that the selfie matches the ID photo and runs a basic background check. If all checks pass, the user is verified on WetRentals and can proceed to book. We do not allow unverified renters to book using our platform, giving you peace of mind that you are renting to a verified user. We take renter verification very seriously, and our partnership with Veriff helps to ensure a secure and trustworthy experience for all of our users.
Coverage
At WetRentals, we do not directly provide insurance for hosts, but we offer damage coverage through AquaShield. Although insurance is not mandatory, we strongly encourage all hosts to obtain some form of insurance to protect themselves against any potential liability. AquaShield costs an extra 15% per transaction but covers your bike incase of any damage.
