Experience the thrill of learning to surf or improving your skills with a 2-hour 1:1 exclusive solo surf course led by a Hawaiian lifeguard. This all-inclusive surf coaching experience is suitable for all ages and skill levels, with mandatory supervision for children aged 5-9. Children under 55 pounds have the option to ride on-board with a lifeguard and can be provided with a lifejacket for added safety and fun. Hawaii Lifeguard Surf Instructors are certified by the American Red Cross and trusted by the Make-A-Wish Foundation year-round. The surf school experience includes a 15-minute private surf classroom coaching session at the HLSI HQ, followed by up to 2 hours of surf time at Kahalu'u Bay. Return surfers can bypass the classroom time. Inclusions such as a surf board and leash, rash guard water shirt, water shoes rental, and optional life jacket for children under 50 lbs ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. HLSI also offers the convenience of storing car keys for safekeeping at the beach park. Participants are advised to bring a towel, sunscreen (reef safe), swim clothes, swim shirt (free rental available), and water shoes (free rental available). All students must be able to swim and engage in intensive cardiovascular and physical activity. Parents or guardians not surfing must remain on location to accompany their minor children. Damage Deposit
Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of USD 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental. This damage deposit secures the host if the boat is damaged during your rental. The damage deposit must be taken from the same card that the booking was made on. Questions?
