Rates for this unique experience are $95 for adults, $65 for children ages 8 and under, and lap kids ages 3 and under are free. The tour lasts 1.5 hours with trail time ranging from 5-10 minutes, depending on the temperature and the well-being of the dogs. Weather in the interior of Alaska can vary from hot and dry to cold and wet, with temperatures ranging from 70-90 degrees on warm days and 50-60 on cool days. Participants are advised to dress appropriately for the weather, with long sleeves and pants for sunny days and warm under layers, boots, and rain gear for rainy days. Bottled water and bug spray are included, but rain gear and transportation are not.
