Experience the thrill of surfing with a private Hawaiian lifeguard surf coach during this exclusive 2-hour surf course for two at Kahalu'u Bay. The total surf school experience lasts 2.5 hours from check-in to paddle-in, with a 15-minute private surf classroom coaching session at the HLSI headquarters before hitting the waves. Surf board, leash, rash guard water shirt, and water shoes are all included, and car keys can be safely stored by the instructor at the beach park. Participants are required to bring a towel, reef-safe sunscreen, swim clothes, swim shirt (free rental available), and water shoes (free rental available). This class option is for two persons aged 10 and above, with a maximum board weight capacity of 250 lbs. Students over the weight capacity must select the 1:1 exclusive surf option for an equipment upgrade. All students must be able to swim and participate in intensive cardiovascular and physical activity, and parents/guardians not surfing must remain on location to accompany minor children. Ideal surf viewing areas are available at Kahalu'u Beach Park for spectators, where students can leave personal belongings in their vehicles for safekeeping. Hawaii Lifeguard Surf Instructors are fully trained and certified by the American Red Cross in professional lifeguarding, ocean rescue, CPR, AED, and first aid. Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of USD 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental.
