The area is home to a variety of species including Grouper, Amberjack, Snapper, King Mackerel, Dolphin, and more, offering anglers a chance to reel in some impressive catches. When it comes to bait, cut bait in the form of sardines and squid is provided on board. Anglers also have the option to reserve live Pinfish ahead of time for a fee, or order live shrimp the day of the trip. Private live bait wells are included in the ticket price, allowing for up to 4 dozen live bait to be stored for use during the adventure. Proper tackle is essential for successfully landing various fish species in the Florida Middle Grounds. From smaller snapper to monster grouper and Amberjack, anglers should come prepared with the appropriate gear including reels, mainline, leaders, and hooks tailored to the specific target species.
