Guests will be taken on a guided tour of the city's hotspots, including 4th and 5th avenues, Ship Creek, Kincaid Park, and the Earthquake Park neighborhood. Learn about the city's history, traditions, and culture as you explore these unique areas and take in the stunning panoramic views along the way. Get an up-close look at the only river in a modern city with five different salmon species, as well as Lake Hood, the largest seaplane base in the world. Visit the "Earthquake Park" neighborhood to see the remnants of the destruction caused by the 1964 earthquake, and stop at Point Woronzof for a selfie with views of Denali on a clear day. Wrap up the tour with a visit to a U.S. air force base to see one of the jets that protect the state and its airspace, highlighting Alaska's strategic role in global conflicts. This boat adventure includes free hotel pick-up in downtown Anchorage, applicable taxes and fees, and informative commentary from a knowledgeable guide.
