Adventure Details
Experience a full day of floating down the world's longest free-flowing lazy river with the all-day float option offered on weekends and holidays in 2024. Arrive at the check-in kiosk at Givhans Ferry State Park between 9 am and 10:30 am to maximize your float time. Enjoy a relaxing trip down the river, with an average duration of 2-3 hours depending on river levels, wind, and party size. After exiting at the outpost, hop on a bus back to the check-in location to select a new tube and continue floating. Included in the trip is a durable large tube of any style, shuttle service back to the launch location for another float, and a shuttle back to your vehicle at the end of the day. Upon your return, there is a sandbar for swimming, as well as activities like volleyball, cornhole, and jenga, along with picnic areas. Changing rooms, showers, and restrooms are also available for your convenience. Please note that personal tubes are not permitted, and there is a $6 entrance fee per adult at Givhans Ferry State Park. To fully enjoy your day of floating, wear your bathing suit or shorts, as you will be on the river for the entire day. It is recommended to bring sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun. Make sure to arrive at the check-in kiosk by 2:20 pm, as the last float goes out at 2:30 pm. Prepare for a day of relaxation and fun on the water with this all-day float adventure. Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of USD 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental.
