Adventure Details
Embark on a 3-4 day Odyssea Open Water Diver Certification course, the first level of scuba certification. Led by a highly-trained PADI Instructor, you will learn how to scuba dive in a supportive environment. Upon completion, you will have the skills and knowledge to dive both locally and internationally, becoming an ambassador for the underwater world. The course includes eLearning, all necessary gear, pool sessions, boat trips to Catalina, and meals. The itinerary for the certification course is divided into two parts. The first part involves completing PADI eLearning at your own pace, allowing for flexibility in your schedule. The second part includes practicing with scuba gear in a pool setting before embarking on four open water dives. Participants must meet certain prerequisites, such as swimming proficiency and medical fitness. Additional dives may be necessary for some students, in which case extra fees will apply. To ensure a safe and enjoyable diving experience, participants must meet certain medical requirements and have the necessary equipment. While most dive shops require students to provide their own mask, fins, and snorkel, Odyssea includes all required gear in the Tier course purchase. Any other gear or equipment needed can be rented or purchased with a 10% discount through partner companies. Damage Deposit
Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of USD 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental. This damage deposit secures the host if the boat is damaged during your rental. The damage deposit must be taken from the same card that the booking was made on. Questions?
