The Special K is a top-of-the-line 40-foot Bertram Widebody Classic Sportfish boat, powered by Twin Cummins Turbo Diesels and customized with underwater fins for a stable ride. Inside, guests can enjoy the fully Air-Conditioned salon with a bathroom, microwave, flat screen TV with DirecTV, and Sirius Satellite Radio. The boat is equipped with a tower, downrigger, outriggers, and a large livewell, as well as state-of-the-art electronics and top-notch fishing tackle. Guests do not need to worry about obtaining a Florida Fishing License, as it is included in the charter fee. Fishing gear is provided on the charter boats, and deck hands will fillet and bag your catch after the trip. It is recommended to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, camera, water, warm clothing, and motion sickness medication if needed. In terms of what can be caught, there are various edible fish open year-round in the Gulf of Mexico, with seasonal options as well. Tipping the crew is encouraged, as they work hard to ensure a successful and enjoyable fishing experience. A customary tip is 20% of the total, with 25% considered complimentary. Guests can also bring their own fishing gear, but it must be approved by the captain and crew. In case of rain, it is recommended to bring rain gear, although fishing can still be successful in wet conditions. Overall, the Special K offers a luxurious and well-equipped fishing adventure for guests of all experience levels. Damage Deposit
Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of USD 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental. This damage deposit secures the host if the boat is damaged during your rental. The damage deposit must be taken from the same card that the booking was made on. Questions?
