With all instructors certified in lifeguarding and CPR and licensed by the state of Hawaiʻi, participants can feel confident in their safety while hitting the waves. Lessons are available at various times throughout the day, ensuring flexibility for busy schedules. Surf lesson participants must be able to swim, and those under 12 years old are required to take a private 1:1 lesson for added safety. Each lesson includes 15 minutes of land safety briefings before hitting the water, with all necessary surfing equipment provided, including rashguards. Pregnant women or guests with prior neck or back injuries are advised against participating in surf or sup lessons, ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants.
