Starting in Biggar, participants will float down the river, taking in the stunning countryside and enjoying a sociable paddling experience. A stop halfway down allows for a break to enjoy some food and snacks before continuing on to the Wolfclyde endpoint. Participants are encouraged to bring a change of clothing, waterproofs, trainers or shoes that can get wet, and food and drinks for the trip. The trip runs from Wandle to Wolfclyde and typically lasts around 3 hours, with barrels provided to keep belongings dry along the way. Ideally, having transport arranged at the endpoint is recommended, but arrangements can be made if needed.
