Starting at Collier Memorial State Park day-use area, you'll paddle through the serene waters with experienced guides leading the way. The stretch of the river for the tour is a favorite among visitors, offering plenty of space to float around and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Along the way, you'll navigate through small ripples and pass by unique underwater lava formations, home to the impressive Redband Trout. This beginner-friendly float is perfect for those with little or no kayaking experience, as our guides are dedicated to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests. With small group trips limited to 12 paddlers, you'll have the opportunity to take in the stunning scenery and capture memorable moments with your camera. All necessary equipment, including kayaks, paddles, life jackets, and whistles, are provided for your convenience. Before embarking on your adventure, make sure to bring a bottle of water, light snacks, and sun protection such as sunglasses and a hat. Wear synthetic, athletic clothes and shoes that can get wet or sandy, and avoid cotton materials. No previous experience is required, as our guides will teach you everything you need to know to have a fantastic time on the water.
