After a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, the tour continues to São Roque on the North Coast, passing by the former wine production site of Lajido. Discover the golden age of wine production on the island, including ports, tidal wells, distilleries, and more. The excursion concludes with a tasting of the famous "liquorous" white wine from Pico at a local producer's adega, showcasing the island's rich wine-making history and economic success. Included in the tour are pick-up and drop-off in Madalena, a knowledgeable guide, visits to the wine laboratory or museum, three wine tastings, lunch, and insurance coverage. It is recommended to book the tour at least 24/48 hours in advance to ensure availability at the adega and wine laboratory.
