Embark on an 8-hour boat adventure that offers a medium level of difficulty, perfect for those looking to immerse themselves in the country life of Pico Island. Walk through forests, pastures, and remote parishes to discover the main economies of the island, ending the tour at the only craft school in the Azores. This experience provides a perfect day of vacation where time slows down, allowing you to truly appreciate the beauty of Pico. Included in the tour is pick-up and drop-off in Madalena, a knowledgeable guide, a light meal consisting of a sandwich or salad, fruit, dessert or cereal bar, juice, and water, as well as insurance for personal accident and liability. Guests are encouraged to contact the tour operator in advance if they have any food restrictions. Participants are advised to bring a backpack, comfortable clothing, hiking shoes, a waterproof jacket, a hat, sunscreen, a swimming suit, towel, and water and snacks for the day.
