The Pufferfish Monitoring Program in Costa Rica offers a unique opportunity for divers to participate in a marine conservation program. With rates starting at $1645 for a 2-week (14-day) duration, participants can do their training on some of the world's best and most biodiverse dive sites. From rays and sharks to tropical fish and sea turtles, divers will have the chance to observe a wide variety of marine life while contributing to important research efforts. To participate in the program, divers must be Advanced Open Water Divers with a minimum of 15 logged dives. Additionally, participants will need to have their own personal mask, snorkel, fins, dive computer, underwater slate, and DSMB. However, other dive equipment is included in the program. For those who are not yet Advanced certified, the program offers training to reach the required level, allowing divers of all experience levels to participate in this exciting opportunity.
