Duke's Surf School offers Private One-on-One Beginner Lessons that provide direct training with a certified instructor for a duration of 3 hours. These personalized lessons allow the instructor to tailor the training to the specific needs of the student, ensuring a more effective and enjoyable learning experience. All instructors at Duke's Surf School are ISA and USLA certified, as well as experienced surfers. During the lesson, students are introduced to the equipment and the ocean, learning how to recognize the correct atmospheric conditions for surfing. Surf awareness and safety are emphasized, with instructors teaching surf etiquette, emergency protocols, and essential do's and don'ts of surfing. Students also participate in on-shore exercises to practice paddling, pushing through waves, and standing up on the board before applying these skills in the water. All necessary equipment for the surfing lesson, including a surfboard with fins and leash, rash guard, and wax, is provided by Duke's Surf School at the price per class. While reef shoes are recommended but not provided, students will have everything else they need to have a successful and safe surfing experience. Damage Deposit
Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of USD 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental. This damage deposit secures the host if the boat is damaged during your rental. The damage deposit must be taken from the same card that the booking was made on. Questions?
