Experience the beauty of the Teton Range as a stunning backdrop on a 3-hour boat adventure down the Snake River. Starting at Wilson Landing, just south of Grand Teton Park, guests will enjoy a leisurely 13-mile float with knowledgeable guides sharing information about the history, geology, flora, and fauna of the area. Keep an eye out for moose, elk, deer, and bald eagles along the way, with opportunities for close-up views of active eagle nests. Guests will be comfortably seated on the outside pontoons and cross tubes of the raft, with all navigation and propulsion handled by the guide through a center-mounted oar frame. A stop on a scenic gravel bar allows for a fresh picnic lunch with the stunning Teton Range in the background. The adventure concludes at Von Gontard’s landing, just 15 minutes south of Jackson, where guests will disembark after an unforgettable journey down the Snake River. Included in the adventure are a knowledgeable guide, boat, equipment, bottled water, and a picnic lunch. Guests are encouraged to bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and appropriate clothing for the weather. Any footwear is suitable for the trip, with sandals being a popular choice as participants generally do not get wet.
