Embark on a full-day fishing adventure on the Salt River, a hidden gem known for its excellent cutthroat fishing and the chance to catch Palisades reservoir spawn run brown trout. The river, located just a 50-minute drive from Jackson, offers anglers the opportunity to cast among banks and bushes, making for a technical and exciting fishing experience. Your knowledgeable guide will provide all the necessary equipment, including rods, reels, flies, and leaders. Enjoy a float fishing format on the Salt River, with two anglers and a guide per drift boat. The boats are equipped with casting stations and captain's chairs, allowing for a comfortable and productive fishing trip. Your guide will offer on-river casting and skills review session at the start of the day, ensuring that anglers are prepared to catch some impressive fish. A delicious picnic lunch will be provided to break up the day, with catch and release practices in place to preserve the river's ecosystem. Included in the trip are rain ponchos, a guide, boat, necessary equipment, fly selection, snacks, waters, and a picnic lunch. Exclusions are fishing license, additional flies at $3 each if needed, and guide gratuity.
