Learn the basics and proper paddling techniques in a 75-minute private lesson that includes all necessary gear, safety equipment, and even photography. Private lessons are available by reservation only at the Dewey Beach concession, conveniently located for those staying in Rehoboth, Dewey, Lewes, or North Bethany. In case of windy conditions or during the fall season, the adventure moves inland to the scenic Broadkill River, launching from the Public Boat Ramp inside Milton Memorial Park. Gratuity for the instructor, dock hand, or driver is additional and customary. Don't forget to bring essentials such as a waterproof pouch, sunglass straps, towel, change of clothes, water to drink, sunscreen, and the Park Mobile APP. Dress in dry wicking clothing, a bathing suit or board shorts, a hat for sun protection, and suggested footwear. Neoprene or DryWicking clothing is recommended for the fall season. Rates for this thrilling boat adventure start at $79 for adults, teens (ages 11-17), and children (ages 8-10). Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of USD 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental.
