The Tube Shack offers the only way to river tube the Cowichan River, with all rentals including shuttle service. The adventure typically lasts 2.5 to 3 hours, with the last shuttle pickup at 6:30pm running at least every 10 minutes. Visitors are encouraged to leave their Tube Shack tubes inflated and bring them up to the road upon arrival at Little Beach. Frequently asked questions include whether bags and coolers can be taken down the river (yes, they can be tied onto tubes or placed in a swift tube with a bottom). Additionally, two people can share a tube, with swift tubes recommended for adults and small children. Small dogs are permitted on the bus but medium to large dogs are discouraged due to the distance they would need to swim. While shoes are not mandatory, wearing them can make the end of the trip more comfortable. The river tubing adventure at the Tube Shack begins with a leisurely float through the start of the Cowichan River, featuring picturesque old bridges. The ride becomes slightly more exciting as the river narrows, offering a relaxing experience rather than an adrenaline rush. Damage Deposit
Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of CAD 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental. This damage deposit secures the host if the boat is damaged during your rental. The damage deposit must be taken from the same card that the booking was made on. Questions?
