Embark on a memorable 8-hour adventure that combines a guided tour of Pompeii with a journey up to the summit of Mount Vesuvius in a small group setting. Led by an expert archaeologist guide, explore the ancient ruins of Pompeii, including the Forum and main houses, before heading to the volcano in a modern minivan. Hike to the top of Mount Vesuvius, peer into the still quiescent crater, and take in the breathtaking views of the Bay of Naples from the summit. During the tour, enjoy the personalized experience of being in a small group, with a maximum of 20 people for Pompeii and 14 for Vesuvius. Admission fees to both sites are included, as well as headsets for larger groups in Pompeii. Comfortable shoes, sunglasses, and sunscreen are recommended for the summer weather, along with bringing a small bottle of water. Please note that the tour is not wheelchair accessible, and travelers should have a strong physical fitness level to participate in the hike up Mount Vesuvius. In the event that Mount Vesuvius is inaccessible due to unforeseen circumstances, such as force majeure, the tour will be adjusted to include a visit to Herculaneum instead. Guests are reminded that food and drinks are not included in the tour, and it is important to follow the guidelines regarding prohibited items at the Pompeii excavations. Damage Deposit
Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of EUR 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental.
