The Slanic Salt Mine & Wine Tasting Tour offers a unique experience combining two key ingredients for a fulfilling life - salt and wine. This 8-hour adventure begins with a visit to the largest salt mine in Europe, Unirea Mine in Slanic Prahova. Guests will have the opportunity to explore the underground chambers and learn about the therapeutic benefits of the salt mine's microclimate. Following the mine visit, guests will enjoy a scenic drive to one of Romania's picturesque wine regions, Dealu Mare, where they will visit a local winery for a guided tour, wine tasting, and a traditional 3-course lunch. During the tour, guests can expect a private and personalized experience with a funny, friendly, and experienced guide who will ensure a relaxed and enjoyable journey. Visitors will have the chance to descend 200m underground in the salt mine, explore the fascinating chambers, and learn about the winemaking tradition in Romania at a local winery. Lunch is not included, but guests will stop at a local restaurant where they can order a la carte and pay on the spot. The tour concludes with a scenic drive back to Bucharest, passing through the city of Ploiesti, with an estimated return time of 4.30 - 5.00 pm.
