Lasting 5 hours, this popular and original experience begins with a visit to the Central Market to pick out fresh, high-quality ingredients with one of the charismatic local chefs. You will then head to a professional kitchen nearby to learn how to make traditional Tuscan dishes, such as bruschetta, homemade pasta, sauces, and dessert. During the hands-on cooking class, you will be guided by expert chefs as you prepare your meal from scratch. The menu may vary based on seasonal ingredients, but you can expect a delicious feast accompanied by two glasses of Chianti wine. After cooking, you will enjoy the fruits of your labor and receive a Graduation Certificate, as well as a booklet of recipes to recreate the dishes at home for friends and family. Vegetarian options are available with advance notice, and food intolerances or allergies can also be accommodated. Unfortunately, the cooking class is not suitable for individuals with celiac disease, but special arrangements are made when the market is closed on Sundays or bank holidays.
