To preserve the environment, guests are asked not to use soap, shampoo, or other detergents at this sauna. This self-heated rate allows guests to heat the sauna themselves by making a fire in the stove and carrying water from the river, offering a hands-on and immersive experience. Guests booking the Self Heated rate at a discounted price will have the opportunity to heat the sauna themselves, starting 30 minutes before the booked start time. Firewood can be found in the wood shed, and matches are available at the reception for convenience. This unique experience allows guests to immerse themselves in the traditional Finnish sauna culture and enjoy the process of heating the sauna with their own hands. The duration of this experience is 1.5 hours, providing ample time to relax and unwind in the wood-heated sauna by the river. Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of EUR 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental.
