The Gala River Front Campground, located in Eagle Rock, VA, offers a serene and rustic camping experience on an 8-acre parcel within a working dairy farm. Situated 30 minutes or 21 river miles upstream from Buchanan, VA, the campground allows both drive-in and paddle-in access for visitors. Each campsite is equipped with a picnic table, fire ring, and a level gravel tent area, providing a comfortable setting for outdoor enthusiasts. Guests can enjoy group river access, as well as amenities such as port-a-potties and a dumpster for trash disposal. However, there are no water or utility hookups available on-site, so visitors must bring their own water supply. Due to a restriction under a railroad bridge, vehicles longer than 25 feet may not be able to access the campground, making it unsuitable for large RVs. The camping rate at Gala River Front Campground is $12 per person per night, with a minimum $36 camping fee. Children under the age of 5 are not included in the billing.
