The Gala River Front Campground, located at 80 Thompson Drive in Eagle Rock, VA, offers a peaceful and scenic camping experience for up to 6 campers. Situated on an 8-acre parcel within a working dairy farm, the campground is accessible by both drive-in and paddle-in methods. Each campsite is equipped with a picnic table, fire ring, and level gravel tent area, with additional amenities including a group river access area, port a potties, and a dumpster for trash. However, there are no water or utilities provided, so campers must bring their own water. Rates for the campground are $12 per person per night plus tax, with a minimum $36 camping fee. Children under the age of 5 are not counted for billing purposes. Advanced reservations are required, as the campground is unmanned. Access to the campground by road is limited to vehicles under 25 feet in length, as there is a railroad bridge that restricts larger vehicles from entering. This means that large RVs may not be able to fit through the access point. Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of USD 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental.
