The trip includes rental of boats, paddles, life jackets, safety orientation, river maps, use of dry bags, and all required shuttles. The duration of the trip is 2 to 3.5 hours, making it a perfect adventure for beginners or those looking for a relaxing day on the water. Trip requirements include the ability to swim, a minimum age of 6 years old, and the necessity of wearing footwear while on the river. Alcohol is not permitted on the trip in accordance with Virginia state law. The 5-mile journey takes about 2 hours to complete at a normal pace, ending at our Buchanan riverfront location. This trip is ideal for small groups of at least 2 people, providing a fun and safe experience for all participants.
