Located at 80 Thompson Drive in Eagle Rock, VA, the Gala River Front Campground offers a unique glamping experience with two wall tents available for rent. Rates are $12 per person per night plus tax, with a minimum camping fee of $36. Children under the age of 5 are not included in the billing. The campground is situated on an 8-acre parcel within a working dairy farm, allowing for both drive-in and paddle-in access. The campground is located approximately 30 minutes or 21 river miles upstream from Buchanan, VA. Each campsite is equipped with a picnic table, fire ring, and a level gravel tent area. While the campground does not have water or utilities, a group river access area, port-a-potties, and a dumpster for trash are available on site. Please note that advanced reservations are required as the campground is unmanned. Access to the campground by road includes passing underneath a railroad bridge that restricts vehicles longer than 25 feet, making it unsuitable for large RVs. Customers are advised to bring their own water as no water or utilities are provided on site. Damage Deposit
Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of USD 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental. This damage deposit secures the host if the boat is damaged during your rental. The damage deposit must be taken from the same card that the booking was made on. Questions?
