The Large Field Campsite, located at 1800 Arcadia Road in Buchanan, VA, offers a riverfront campground with 8 sites for tent camping only. The rate is $12 per person per night plus tax, with a minimum $36 camping fee. Children under the age of 5 are not included in the billing. The campsite is situated about 6 river miles downstream of a Buchanan-based canoe livery location and 13 miles upstream of Glasgow boat landing. Each campsite at Large Field Campsite includes a picnic table, fire ring, and level gravel tent area. The campground also features a group river access area, port-a-potties, and a dumpster for trash disposal. However, there are no water or utilities available on-site, so customers must bring their own water and dispose of their trash in the dumpster provided.
