Embark on a one-hour guided boat tour of the night sky with the use of an 11-inch Celestron Schmidt Cassegrain Telescope. During the tour, an astronomer will point out various constellations using a green laser pointer and provide fascinating facts about astronomy and starlore. Guests will be treated to a planetarium-class formal presentation and have the opportunity to view planets, nebulae, double stars, star clusters, and galaxies through the telescope. Our knowledgeable guide astronomers are skilled storytellers who aim to captivate customers and spark a sense of wonder as they explore the cosmos. To fully enjoy the experience, guests are advised to dress for warm weather and bring a beach chair or mat if they prefer not to stand for the entire hour. It is recommended to avoid using white light while stargazing, as astronomers prefer red lighting for better visibility. Additionally, minor children must be accompanied by a paid adult reservation in order to participate in the boat adventure.
