Experience a magical guided nature adventure after dark on a 1.5 hour bioluminescence tour in the Banana River Lagoon Nature Preserve. Small groups and personal care ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, free from crowds. Witness the stunning bioluminescent sparking comb jellies year-round, with the added spectacle of bioluminescent phytoplankton called Dinoflagellates in the summer. Choose between a paddle board or kayak at launch, suitable for all experience levels and ages. Summer storms are common in the afternoons but typically dissipate by nightfall. Your guide will keep you informed if weather may affect the tour, with the option to be fully refunded or rescheduled. The tour includes a 1.5-hour exploration of the bioluminescent wonders, welcoming both beginner and advanced paddlers with a mix-and-match option for kayaks and paddle boards. Prepare for an unforgettable adventure in a unique natural setting. Meet after sunset at 9PM in summer and 8PM in other seasons at the Brevard Veteran's Memorial Park in Merritt Island, FL. Your guide will be waiting at the West end of the Museum building, with the launch site conveniently located behind the Museum. Remember to bring a swimsuit, towel, and a change of clothes if you plan on getting in the water, along with warmer attire for winter evenings.
