Embark on a 2-hour self-guided paddle adventure on the St. Johns River, departing at 8:30AM from Blue Spring State Park in Orange City, FL. This excursion is perfect for guests wanting to explore the spring run, excluding manatee season. Choose from single kayaks, tandem kayaks, 2-seat canoes, or 3-seat canoes for rent. Please note that your feet may get wet during the beach launch process, so plan footwear accordingly. Included in your rental are boats, paddles, life jackets, an area map, and a whistle. It is crucial to arrive early at the park, as it can reach capacity quickly during peak visitation. Paddle reservations more than 30 minutes late will be cancelled. All boats must stay between St. Johns green river markers 69 and 77, and no watercraft is allowed in the Spring Run during Manatee Season from November 15th, 2023 to April 1st, 2024. Guests must be 18 years or older to book and provide a photo ID for each renter over 18 years old. Minors must have a legal parent or guardian present in the party and must be 14 years or older to be in a single kayak with adult supervision. Alcohol is not allowed in the State Park or on the vessels, and coolers may be inspected prior to departure. Pets are not permitted in the kayaks or canoes.
