Experience the thrill of surfing in Maui's warm waters with our surf school located at the island's most reliable surf spot. Our two-hour lessons cater to all levels, from beginners to advanced, with options for one-day activities, camps, private coaching, and longer programs. Participants must be comfortable in the ocean and able to swim, with a minimum age of 12 for mixed adult classes. We provide all the necessary beginner equipment, including lycra rashguard shirts and reef booties for protection, while advanced surfers can rent different board styles. Lessons begin with a short land lesson before heading into the water to catch some waves, offering a mix of talk time and practical experience. Held close to shore in a sheltered bay with predictable and gentle waves over a gently sloping reef, our location is ideal for beginners and minimizes the need for extensive paddling. Parents and spectators can watch safely from the beach, enjoying great views and photo opportunities of the action. With lessons available Monday through Saturday year-round, our surf school provides a fun and educational experience for all ages. For those looking to delve deeper into the world of surfing, we offer kids surfing camps throughout the summer. Running for three days each week, these camps include safety talks, theory lessons, and plenty of water time to help young surfers improve their skills. Students are placed in small groups based on weight and experience level, with gear provided and the option to bring reef shoes, towels, and sunscreen.
