The departure time is prompt at 6:30 AM, with a return time between 3-5 PM, just in time for dinner. What's not included in the trip is the crew tip and fishing licenses, which must be purchased in advance. An appropriate tip for the hardworking crew is typically 15-20% of the total trip cost, with each fisherman expected to tip $20-$25+ per crew member. Fishing licenses can be purchased locally or online, with King Salmon stamps not required unless specifically booked for a King Salmon trip. Don't forget to pack snacks, lunch, beverages, and personal rain gear for the trip. Fish processing services are available through Homer Fish Processing, and harvest cards are required for children 16 and under, as well as residents with a permanent card as their fishing license.
