Dana Wharf Whale Watching offers a unique adventure on the water with their 1/2 Price Tuesday special and Wyland’s Whale and Dolphin Adventure Art Lesson on Saturdays from January to April. Guests can enjoy creating their own art while also experiencing a whale watching tour, with their artwork being judged by Wyland himself. As the original whale watching company in Orange County, Dana Wharf has been providing premier year-round whale watching tours since 1971. With expert marine naturalist captains narrating each 2-hour cruise, guests can learn about the abundant ocean life off the Dana Point coast. The company guarantees marine mammal sightings, offering a free Marine Mammal Rain Check if guests do not see any whales or dolphins during their tour. During the whale and dolphin watching adventure tour, guests have the opportunity to see a variety of marine life, including Gray Whales, Blue Whales, dolphins, sea lions, and pelicans. Rare sightings of Orcas, False Killer Whales, Pilot Whales, and even Sperm Whales are also a possibility. With private charters available, guests can book a personalized whale watching experience. Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of USD 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental.
