Adventure Details

The PADI Rescue Diver course is known to be challenging yet highly rewarding for scuba divers. Participants learn how to prevent and manage water-related problems, gaining confidence in their skills and ability to assist others in need. The course focuses on improving problem-solving skills and emphasizes the importance of being a reliable buddy. Despite the serious nature of the training, there is plenty of room for laughter and fun throughout the course. To be eligible for the PADI Rescue Diver course, participants must be at least 12 years old, hold a PADI (Junior) Adventure Diver certification, and have completed the Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive. Additionally, all students must have completed Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care training within the past 24 months, or they can complete it during the Rescue Diver course. The option to enroll in the PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider specialty course may also be available. The course curriculum covers a range of topics including self-rescue, stress management for divers, emergency equipment usage, rescuing panicked and unresponsive divers, and more. The training includes both knowledge development and practical rescue exercises to prepare participants for real-life dive emergencies. With a maximum student-to-instructor ratio of 4:1, students can expect personalized attention and comprehensive training. The course includes a Rescue Diver Course Manual, classroom instruction, tanks, weights, and PADI Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care training.
