Experience a royal journey dedicated to Ludwig II, the King of Bavaria, on the Royal Tour boat adventure. Explore the history of the Swan King, visiting iconic locations such as Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau Castles, Linderhof, Herrenchiemsee, and Nymphenburg Palaces, as well as the beautiful Village of Oberammergau and Wieskirche. The tour spans three days, from 8:30 am on day one to 5:00 pm on day three. On day one, the tour begins with a visit to Nymphenburg Palace, a favorite summer residence of Bavarian royalty. Guests will explore the elegant design of the palace, including the Blauer Salon and the Marstallmuseum. The day continues with a boat trip to Herreninsel to visit Herrenchiemsee Palace, the largest of King Ludwig II's palaces, modeled after Versailles. Afterward, guests are driven to Füssen for a relaxing evening at their hotel. Day two includes a visit to Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau Castles, with Skip the Line service for convenience. Guests will enjoy stunning views from Mary's Bridge and explore the interiors of both castles. The day concludes with a visit to the famous Wieskirche before returning to the hotel in Füssen. The final day of the tour features a visit to Linderhof Palace, the only palace completed during Ludwig II's lifetime. Guests will also explore Oberammergau, known for its wood carving and traditional Passion Play. The tour concludes with a visit to Starnberg Lake, where Ludwig II spent his last night alive.
