This 3-hour trip is the longest on the river, allowing you to enjoy 18+ class II and III rapids as you navigate through the stunning Cherokee National Forest and surrounding Tennessee farmland. Suitable for all ages and skill levels, this beginner-friendly rafting trip offers a memorable experience on the sparkling waters of the Watauga. Upon arrival at our riverside outpost in Elizabethton, Tennessee, you will be equipped with top-of-the-line gear and receive a scenic tour of the area in our River and Earth Adventures van before reaching the put-in location. Expert guides will provide a thorough safety talk before you embark on your rafting journey under the Wilber Dam. Get ready for an adrenaline-pumping experience as you navigate through various rapids, including the iconic Anaconda rapid, and have the opportunity to jump off a cliff into the refreshing waters below. The adventure continues as you navigate through smaller rapids and enjoy the abundant wildlife and colorful scenery along the river. Take a quick dip in the water or explore the banks before concluding your trip behind our outpost, where changing stations are provided for your convenience. With its exciting rapids and breathtaking views, the Watauga River adventure promises a thrilling and unforgettable experience for the whole family. Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of USD 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental.
