Experience a unique Evening Nature Walk in the El Yunque Rainforest with a duration of 2.5 hours. Discover the nocturnal side of the rainforest as you enter just before sunset and embark on a guided nature walk tour. Learn about the daytime flora and fauna, take a dip in natural swimming holes like "Las Damas" pool, and witness the forest come alive as diurnal animals prepare to rest and nocturnal animals start to emerge. To make the most of your adventure, bring lightweight clothing, a change of dry clothes, towels for drying off, hiking shoes or water shoes, and waterproof cameras. Leave behind items like digital cameras that are not waterproof, important documentation, large sums of money, and valuable jewelry. In case of bad weather, the tour will be cancelled if there is a 50% or higher threat for rain, strong winds, or thunderstorms. EYT monitors weather conditions daily and will notify you of any cancellations. Transportation is not included, so guests must meet at the entrance on Angelito Trail Head. UBER and taxis are not permitted in the forest, so attendees must arrive in their own vehicle or rental car. The tour itinerary includes a meeting time at 5:30 pm, safety orientation, a guided walk through Angelito Trail, a break at Las Damas Pool, and a return to the Trail entrance by 8:00 pm. Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of USD 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental.
