Experience a personalized Alaska whale watching tour on a larger boat adventure lasting approximately 4 hours. This tour includes 1 hour of round trip transfer time, 3 hours of whale watching and sightseeing cruise, as well as opportunities for bathroom breaks and a stop at Brotherhood Bridge for a photo opportunity of the Mendenhall Glacier. Enjoy the small boat experience with locally trained Captains for excellent view opportunities and one-on-one interactions with the Captain and Naturalist. The tour begins with pick up from your cruise ship or hotel in a courtesy shuttle, driving you to the Auke Bay boat harbor for boarding. Meet with your Captain or guide at the harbor, where you will have a chance to use the restroom before boarding the vessel for your whale watching adventure. Expect to return to the harbor by approximately 12:35pm for disembarking at 12:55pm, with return transportation scheduled for 1:00pm to bring you back to your pick up location by 1:30pm. Please note that Mendenhall Glacier sightings are weather-dependent. Get ready to witness Humpback and Orca Whales near Juneau, Alaska, with Humpback Whales seen on 100% of trips since 2004 and Orca Whales spotted about 20% of the time. The best months for whale sightings are May through September, and while there is no whale sighting guarantee, a 50% refund is offered if whales are not sighted on your tour. Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of USD 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental.
